Shelli Lucas Dellinger, O.T.R./L, C.H.T., C.E.E. owns Lucas Health Solutions (L.H.S.), based in San Diego, Ca. Her focus is on the total health of the individual which includes a unique combination of therapy techniques developed by Shelli specifically to help patients live pain-free.
Shelli brings over 27 yrs experience to her patients. She is a licensed and certified occupational therapist ('85); certified in orthopedic hand therapy ('91); certified in ergonomic evaluation ('91); and certified in structural integration and postural re-education (2000).
Shelli's training was founded upon "working with the whole person". She analyses the structure (posture) and function (movement) of the client's body and the effects that their environment (work/home) is placing on it. Each client receives a personal evaluation & treatment plan to return their body to its upright and pain-free posture. For total healing, evaluation and suggested modifications for work/home environment must be part of the plan.

Lucas Health Solutions was born out of a desire to offer quality therapy at affordable cost. Shelli believes that each client deserves one-on-one attention during each therapy session, to offer the client the highest level of care. Each session lasts approximately one-hour and along with manual treatment, she incorporates assessment of the work/home environment, discussing the role it might play in the injury, and always ending with 'homework' to assist the body in maintaining the changes made during the treatment session.

Shelli Lucas Dellinger has been involved on a local and national level as a member of several task forces concerning injury prevention; competitive pricing for ergonomic products; working with worker's compensation insurance carriers. She offers in-services regarding ergonomics and cumulative trauma prevention, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, and proper workstation design. She is active in teaching educational seminars for professional therapists as well. She has lectured to such organizations as Rotary Clubs, Lion's clubs, various insurance carriers' risk managers and case managers groups, etc. Shelli has published literary and research articles discussing posture, postural effects on hand function, cumulative trauma, workstation evaluation and set-up, cumulative trauma disorders, and other more specific articles for therapists and physicians regarding orthopedic hand therapy. Shelli has also participated on the Board of Directors for the American Society of Hand Therapists.
